Overview
The YPm series delivers clean-water peripheral (vortex) pumping for applications that need high discharge pressure at modest flow rates — the classic profile for household booster duty, garden irrigation, and small appliance circuits.
A brass vortex impeller spinning inside a close-clearance casing develops pressure through repeated energy transfer, producing heads up to 95 m from a compact 0.25 – 1.1 kW single-phase motor.

When Not to Use
- Dirty / sandy / muddy water — the vortex impeller is not abrasion-tolerant
- Liquid temperature above 60 °C
- Corrosive or flammable liquids
- Suction lift above 9 m
- Continuous high-flow service — switch to the YCm centrifugal line instead
